My interest in dog training started early, as I member of the Kenosha County 4-H Dog Project through school and I continue to serve as a leader, trainer and Board member. I've competed in many dog sports such as, obedience, nose work, rally, and dock diving, and attended seminars on behavior, nutrition, and training, ultimately embracing fear-free, positive reinforcement methods.

With over 20 years of experience in teaching obedience classes for all ages, I pursued further education at the Karen Pryor Academy, earning my Professional Dog Trainer certification in 2021 and becoming a Certified Fear Free Animal Trainer in 2023.​
